Oklahoma City police said Thursday that the killing of a 35-year-old woman has been ruled a homicide.

Oklahoma City police said Thursday that the killing of a 35-year-old woman has been ruled a homicide.

According to homicide investigators, Tawny King was killed, transported and disposed of more than 120 miles away at a home in Stringtown. Investigators found King's body late Wednesday night.

Officers arrested 32-year-old Derrick Brown in southwest Oklahoma City. Brown was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a first-degree murder complaint.

Authorities said King and Brown had been romantically involved for several years.
