September 18 is known as “918 day” here in Tulsa as a way for the city to come together as one.

If you are looking for something fun an local to participate in, consider getting your family together for 918 day specials and events on Friday.

This is a day created by the city to celebrate Tulsa and all it has to offer, these offers include certain restaurants having specials for $9.18, businesses selling merchandise for $91.18, and even a concert at the gathering place playing music from 1980.

This is the third year of this Tulsa fun and the city’s Chief resilience Officer Krystal Reyes says this is just another way for Tulsans to come together as one.

"Our theme is rising through resilience we really want to focus on connecting people building social connections around Tulsans," said Reyes.
