Tulsa Mayor Encourages Census Responses, Says City On Cusp Of Milestone

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum is pushing for all Oklahomans, especially those in areas surrounding Tulsa to fill out the census.

Despite a federal court ruling that the Census should continue through the end of October, the Census Bureau now said it will end on October 5. With less than one week to fill out the census, Bynum weighed in with what it could mean for Green Country.  

Bynum said the Tulsa metro area is right on the cusp of passing 1 million people, a milestone they’ve been trying to reach for years.
