Man Arrested After Creek Co Deputies Say He Killed His Father

Creek County deputies arrested a man they said shot his father to death.

An affidavit said Steven Haddock Jr. admitted to shooting his father early Friday morning in Jennings. Deputies said Haddock believed his father had been raping him in his sleep, so he confronted both his parents at gunpoint, before shooting his father.

Deputies said Haddock then called 911 on himself. He is in jail on first-degree murder charges.
