New Search Warrant Filed In Carina Saunders Murder Investigation

A new search warrant was filed in the Carina Saunders murder investigation, according to Oklahoma County court documents.

In the warrant filed on Oct. 6, an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent requested the data, files and logs for Saunders's AOL email address.

The request is limited to the time frame of Jan. 1, 2011 to Sept. 8, 2020.

In 2011, Saunders had an AOL email account and used it to access her Facebook account.

On Aug. 15, 2011, Saunders said she had no phone and she was trying to figure out how to text through her email account.

In September 2011, Saunders still did not have access to a phone but she was communicating through Facebook Messenger.

On Oct. 13, 2011, Saunders's body was found behind a grocery store in Bethany, Oklahoma.
