The Sand Springs City Council will vote on an ordinance to require masks or face coverings at all public places in a meeting Monday night. The ordinance would declare a COVID-19 emergency in the city. The ordinance would require masks or face coverings at places like shopping areas, venues, banks, restaurants and bars.

The Sand Springs City Council will vote on an ordinance to require masks or face coverings at all public places in a meeting Monday night. The ordinance would declare a COVID-19 emergency in the city.

The ordinance would require masks or face coverings at places like shopping areas, venues, banks, restaurants and bars.

There are some exceptions to the mandate, including children under the age of 10 and people inside of a private home. They also would not be required when eating or drinking at a restaurant.
