Police Search For Man Involved In Armed Robbery With Knife

Tulsa Police are looking for a man they say robbed a woman and cut her with a knife on Sunday.

TPD says the armed robbery happened around 7 p.m. as the woman walked near Yale and Skelly Drive. The woman told officers a man ran up to her, grabbed her purse, slashed her with a knife, then left.

Officers say the woman went home and called 9-1-1. The victim told officers the man was wearing a black beanie, dark coat, and blue jeans and had a scruffy beard. Police say the victim had a cut on her left side about four inches long but is going to recover.
