The Oklahoma City Zoo is ending its winter schedule early, the zoo announced Monday.
Effective immediately, the zoo will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The zoo implemented its first ever winter hours on Dec. 1, 2020, being open Thursdays through Mondays and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
With warmer temperatures coming, the zoo is asking people to plan their visits to the zoo.
Health care workers and emergency responders are being honored at the zoo for the month of February with free general admission. Four immediate family members of qualifying individuals can receive 50% off of general admission to the zoo.
Advance reservations are not required for health care workers and emergency responders who present a valid work ID or badge at the Zoo's ticket window upon arrival to complimentary admission for themselves and discounts for up to four accompanying guests.
Advanced tickets are required to help maintain social distancing among guests.
