16-Year-Old Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing To Death Edmond Man Accused Of Assault

An Edmond man died after he was stabbed twice just after midnight Saturday.

The man was identified by police as Eddie Raymond Beesley Jr.

Beesley was accused of assaulting two women, one of them his girlfriend, at a residence near the intersection of North Bryant Avenue and East Danforth Road.

According to police, a juvenile stabbed Beesley twice. Beesley was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Edmond police said it arrested a 16-year-old suspect on a second-degree murder complaint.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
