Tulsa Police: 2 Arrested Trying To Steal Lumber From Home Construction Site

Two men were arrested near I-44 and Yale Thursday night after police said they tried stealing lumber from a home construction site.

Police said Edguardo Rodriguez and Jose Martinez-Hernandez took off in their truck with a trailer full of lumber, but it wasn’t tied down. The wood started falling out of the trailer, leaving a trail behind them, police said.

They were also busted for drugs. Rodriguez also had several outstanding warrants.
