After 21 years, the Midwest City police chief will be stepping down from the position.
Brandon Clabes started at the department in 1979 and was named chief in 1999. Upon his retirement from the force, he will serve as director of the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training.
He is the longest serving chief in the department’s history, the Central Oklahoma Weeklies reported.
