Construction crews are making progress on several street widening projects in Broken Arrow.

On Albany Street next to the new Broken Arrow Schools STEM Center, work will start soon on a widening project between County Line Road and 37th Street. The project will include new asphalt, driveways, sidewalks, and a prefabricated bridge over Lone Star Creek.

The city said the work will be finished before the first day of school in August.

On Washington Street, work is still underway on a widening project between Olive and Garnett.

In the next two weeks, crews will continue with backfilling, grading, and installing sod on the north side of Washington Street and work will continue to widen the Olive and Washington Street intersection.
