John Pascarella will no longer serve as head coach of OKC Energy FC, the club announced Friday.
The club and Pascarella "mutually agreed to part ways," according to a club statement.
OKC Energy FC hired Pascarella as its head coach back in November 2019, his first full-time head coaching gig at the United Soccer League level.
Since earning the job, Pascarella led Energy to a 1-8-7 mark during a 2020 season shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through seven matches in 2021, OKC has logged zero wins, three losses and four draws.
The club currently sits in seventh place with a two-point edge over last-place Memphis 901 FC in the Eastern Conference's Central Division.
Assistant coach Leigh Veidman was announced as the club's interim replacement while an international search for Pascarella's full-time replacement gets underway.
