Bathtub Rocks At J.T. Nickel Preserve In Tahlequah Closes

A popular section of a nature and wildlife preserve in Tahlequah is now permanently closed.

The J.T. Nickel Preserve said the "Bathtub Rocks" area has seen an increase in drug activity, vandalism, and trespassing, and is now closed.

According to their Facebook page, law enforcement is now on site to issue citations to anyone who tries to come to the area.

The area is well known for its unique rock formations and has been a tourist attraction for years.
