People in Broken Arrow will have a chance to learn more about a proposed road widening project near Broken Arrow High School.
The project would be on Albany Street right in front of the high school and would upgrade the road from 3 lanes to 5. This would give the section between 9th and 23rd street two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. It would also include a four-way traffic light at the 12th Street intersection in front of Creekwood Elementary.
At an upcoming meeting, folks can learn more about this project from city leaders who will be giving presentations and answering any questions from the community. There will also be an environmental consultant at the meeting as well as a Spanish translator.
The meeting will be on August 12th at the Nienhuis Park Community Center conference room at 6 p.m.
