A multi-state manhunt has ended after an Oklahoma suspect wanted in connection with a carjacking and the shooting of three people was taken into custody Thursday.
Police said Lee King, 27, was arrested at approximately 4 p.m. at an apartment complex in Dallas, Texas by the U.S. Marshals Service.
King is accused of stealing the car of a woman and shooting her in the leg Saturday, July 17 in Oklahoma City. Authorities said he later shot two Good Samaritans who tried to help King after he ran out of gas in the stolen car he was driving in Sequoyah County.

Sunday, July 18 King was involved in a chase with authorities after being seen in the vehicle in Antlers, Oklahoma. He managed to escape police after running away on foot into a wooded area.
The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed the arrest of King.
The U.S. Marshals Service Task Force, OCPD and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation were all involved in the search for King.
