Community Comes Together To Provide Supplies For Yukon Students

The Good Fight Church is helping families prepare for the upcoming school year. 

The 6th Annual School Supply Drive is this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon at the church located at 500 E Main St, Yukon, OK, 73099. 

The church will provide all supplies as well as games and haircuts.

They have around 600 backpacks left, up for grabs! 

"No matter what struggle they're going through right now, no matter what challenge they're facing, that there's people out in the world who are willing to help them and willing to show them that they care about them -and that they are not alone," said Joshua Laughter a Pastor at The Good Fight Church. 

Families can register to get supplies -- or just show up at the event tomorrow. 

The event is a community effort involving dozens of organizations including, Bethel Church, Calvary, Canadian Hills Nazarene, Covenant Community Church, Cowboy Church, Family Church, First Nazarene, Frontline, Grit Church, House of Restoration, Liberty Church, LifeChurch Yukon, New Hope, Resurrection Lutheran Church, South Yukon Church of Christ, The Fellowship at Western Oaks, Town and Country Christian Church, & Vision Familiar.
