1 Killed In SW OKC Shooting

A person is dead after a shooting in southwest Oklahoma City, police said.

The shooting happened Thursday near SW 42nd Street and Linn Avenue.

Police said when they arrived on scene, they found the victim inside of a home with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officers said they are still in the early phases of their investigation and are working to find out what lead up to the shooting.

“No arrest have been made. No suspects in custody. There are some individuals being detained right now to figure out what they know,” Oklahoma City police Sgt. Dillon Quirk said.

Right now, the victim has not been identified. Officers are working to notify the family.
