A shooting Thursday night in northwest Oklahoma City leaves one man dead and another in custody.
According to police, the shooting started as an argument outside the Lake Hefner Townhomes. A neighbor said they hear gun shots and that violence is not uncommon in the area.
"I don't have any statistics to go off of but as a patrol officer a few years ago I took a fair number of calls to this apartment complex," said Rob Robertson with Oklahoma City Police Department.
Police were called to the complex around 8:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found the victim dead and the alleged shooter still at the scene.
It is unclear what the relationship between the two men was. Their names have not been released at this time.
