Homeowner Says Dog Alerted Them To House Fire In NW OKC

A house fire overnight on Tuesday displaced one person but they're safe thanks to a furry friend.

The fire started at a home near Northwest 16th and Meridian.

The owner of the home was able to make it out safely after his dog alerted him to the fire.

Fire fighters said they are investigating what caused the flames.
