13-Year-Old Student Injured In Crash Involving School Bus In Canadian County

A 13-year-old student was injured Monday in a crash involving a school bus in Canadian County, Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed to News 9.

Authorities said the crash occurred on Reuter Rd. W near Calumet, Oklahoma.

According to OHP, the school bus driver told investigators that he looked away from the roadway and ran into a ditch.

The 13-year-old boy had leg injuries and was taken via medical helicopter to OU Medical where he is in good condition, according to the report.

The driver and 12 other passengers were not injured.
