Strong Winds Tear Roof Off Of Shawnee Gas station

Strong winds ripped the roof off of a gas station near the Grand Casino Hotel & Resort in Shawnee on Sunday night.

News On 6 Storm Tracker Hank Brown recorded wind speeds between 60 and 70 mph in the area as the storm made its way toward Johnson.

Tin from the gas station roof was thrown nearly 50-yards, most of the debris landed in an empty parking lot.

Nobody was injured and no cars were damaged.
