Murder Suspect Escapes From Tishomingo Jail

The Johnston County sheriff said an inmate who admitted to murder escaped from jail and could be anywhere in the state, Texas or Colorado.

Shawn Baumgardner, 33, escaped from the jail in Tishomingo on Wednesday.

The sheriff's office said Baumgardner crashed into someone and killed them during a chase last November.
