Will Rogers Museum In Claremore Hosts Special Event To Honor Rogers' Birthday

On Friday, the Will Rogers Museum in Claremore is hosting a special event in honor of Will Rogers' birthday.

The actor was born in Oologah 142 years ago. Rogers died in a plane crash near Point Barrow, Alaska in August of 1935.

The museum is putting on a motion picture festival featuring up-and-coming filmmakers and films starring Rogers.

The festival is free to attend and will run through Saturday.

Rogers' birthday was Thursday, November 4th.
