Police Identify Man Killed In NW OKC

A man died Friday after being shot in northwest Oklahoma City, police said.

Deontae Marquis Kendrick, Sr., 28, was found dead at the scene at an apartment complex in the 7500 block of Knight Lake Drive near Lyrewood Lane.

Police were called shortly after 8:05 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, they found Kendrick dead at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators think there was a party at an apartment when an altercation broke out. During the altercation, Kendrick was shot.

So far, no arrests have made in this case.
