Oklahoma City Fire Department Battles 29 Grass Fires Over The Weekend

The Oklahoma City Fire Department battled 29 grass fires over the weekend.

Most of the fires were small and easy for the department to contain. One fire on Sunday burned more than 80 acres.

60 OKC firefighters and many more from surrounding departments were called to battle the blaze.

OKCFD reminds Oklahoma City residents to be careful with dry vegetation and the high winds that have been in the state.
