An accused killer is behind bars. U.S. Marshals and OKCPD arrested Kendall Edwards Jr, in Edmond Wednesday.
Sunday, police said he went to the victim's apartment and shot him in the head.
According to police the victim was answering his door when he was killed.
“He was in his apartment at one point with a female, the female indicated there was a knock at the door. He stepped outside went downstairs for a few minutes heard shots ring out,” said Oklahoma City Police MSgt. Knight.
“I heard one gunshot and then about five, seven minutes later I heard five more,” said one neighbor.
Neighbors learned Curtis Snyder's girlfriend found him dead on Sunday.
He was a nice guy I didn't have no problems with him,” said one neighbor.
According to reports Kendall Edwards Junior admitted to killing the victim after he alleges, he "entered the wrong apartment, and someone charged him."
However, video surveillance showed Edwards speaking with the victim moments before he pulled out a gun and shot him multiple times.
Edwards fled the scene in a friend's vehicle.
US marshals tracked Edwards to Edmond Wednesday afternoon.
He is being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
