Many people across the state are in a frenzy trying to get a COVID-19 test after being with family or traveling for the holidays.
Some are hitting roadblocks.
The local testing company, Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma, went from testing around 40 people a day at their drive- thru location before the holidays to around 400 the day after Christmas.
They have testing facilities across the metro, some of them are facilities where you go in to get a test.
At the main location located at 225 NE 97th Street in Oklahoma City, they have a drive-thru option.
You do need to have an appointment to get a test at DLO, but it is super easy to do online and they have plenty of tests available.
Many people want a rapid test. DLO CEO, R'Nee Mullen, said you may be able to one depending on what your symptoms are.
You will fill out a form with all of that information when you make your appointment.
"The schedule fills up pretty fast through the day so when we look at it a night before there are time slots available, but it seems like by the time we hit noon to one o'clock the day has filled up," said Mullen.
DLO also offers a flu/COVID combination test as well.
They are hiring all positions to keep up with the demand.
