Work is already underway in Cushing on Highway 33 where crews are starting a $19 Million pavement project.

East and westbound traffic will be narrowed to one lane starting this week, and the intersection at Linwood Avenue as well as Highway 18 will be shut off to drivers trying to go north or south. ODOT says drivers trying to take those roads should expect detours through this spring.

Entrances to businesses in this area will be affected, but the contractor says at least one driveway will stay open during the project to access these areas. The entire project is planned to wrap up in the spring of 2023.
