This Friday is the deadline to register to vote in the Oklahoma City Mayoral election coming up in February, and one organization is helping voters.
It is important to know that you can't fully register online. But there are several other ways you can register this week to make sure you are in the clear.
You can head to the DPS, where you get your license, and can register there.
There is also a form you can fill out on the Oklahoma Elections website, but that form needs to be brought to a local County election board or the state election board.

The non-partisan, non-profit The National Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City wants to help people become registered voters, and overcome any challenges to make that happen.
Jabar Shumate, VP of Community Convening and Social Justice for the OKC Urban League, said they work with clients who are elderly so they can know how to absentee vote if needed and those who were previously incarcerated to know their rights,
"Really want to re-integrate those individuals to healthy lifestyles and healthy environments and that includes the right to vote. This past summer we worked with around 600 people."
Carol Hefner, Jimmy Lawson and Frank Urbanic are challenging current Mayor David Holt, who's running for re-election.
Once you are registered, the next step is to make sure you are informed.
Shumate said that because of COVID-19 it has been harder for candidates to get their names and proposals out to the public.
"A lot of individuals would see a candidate through their church or social organizations that are not meeting, so another difficult thing is to get the information out about who you should support," said Shumate.
The Mayoral election is February 8th.
The Urban League plans to host a forum with candidates on February 4th.

The Urban League also works with Grit For Democracy and other non-profits that help people take advantage of their right to vote.
