So far this season, Maya Mayberry has been one of the best players for Tulsa women's basketball.

The guard has been lighting up the scoreboard, averaging 14 points a game.

She's the team's second leading scorer behind her sister, Wyvette Mayberry.

Head Coach Angie Nelp said that without Maya, the team wouldn't have the success that they are having this season.

"You know there is a lot of attention on Maya for her scoring and that opens things up for a lot of other people with our team. And that's one thing that I'm so proud of this team. They are very connected and they play like a team and they play together and they support each other," said Angie Nelp.
