According to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, 986 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Monday.
A total of 998,769 COVID-19 cases have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic, and the provisional death count rose by 78 to 13,672 since the state last reported an updated death count on Feb. 7.
The rolling seven-day average of new cases is 2,774, the health department said Tuesday.
Currently, 47,301 Oklahomans are considered active cases in the state, OSDH said.
As of Feb. 1, 5,608,887 total vaccine doses have been administered with 2,739,774 Oklahomans receiving at least one dose. More than 2,183,000 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations or are fully vaccinated, making 55.2% of the eligible Oklahoma population is fully vaccinated.
About 1,588 Oklahomans are currently in acute care OSDH-licensed facilities with 330 in the ICU and 128 are currently in other types of facilities due to COVID-19. Out of the 1,716 hospitalizations, 67 are pediatric hospitalizations, OSDH said.

The state health department advises anyone with COVID-19 symptoms such as shortness of breath, fever, or coughing to stay home and limit person-to-person engagement.
