Some Downtown Tulsa Streets Closing For Filming Of New Series Starring Sylvester Stallone

Several downtown Tulsa roads will be shut down at different times in the coming days for the production of a new TV series starring Sylvester Stallone.

Several downtown Tulsa roads will be shut down at different times in the coming days for the production of a new TV series starring Sylvester Stallone. The show is expected to be released later this year.

Filming starts Tuesday and continues through Friday. Roads closed Tuesday include Cheyenne between 4th and 5th streets and 1st Street between Main and Boston.

Other closures will happen on Wednesday, including Boston between 3rd and 5th streets. On Thursday, roadblocks will be put up on 5th Street from Cheyenne to Main.

The full list of closures can be found on the City of Tulsa’s traffic map.

The TV series is called “The Tulsa King” and will be streamed on Paramount Plus. The story is centered around a New York gangster who moves to Tulsa’s criminal underworld after a 25-year prison sentence.
