Live Updates: Early Morning Storms Move Through Green Country

Update 3/30/2022 6:55 a.m.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Le Flore County in Oklahoma until 7:15 on Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service advises anyone in the path of this storm to take immediate shelter in a basement or interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. The NWS says, the storm is currently moving northeast at 65 mph and has the potential to produce hail upwards of .75 inches.

Update 3/30/2022 6 a.m.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Le Flore County in Oklahoma until 6:30 on Wednesday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, the storm, which was located five miles south of Big Cedar, is moving northeast at 60 mph.

Update 3/30/2022 3:22 a.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Delaware and Ottawa counties until 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, severe thunderstorms, moving northeast at 50 mph, were located along a line extending two miles east of Cleora, to four miles northwest of Jay, to five miles southeast of Chloeta at around 3:02 a.m.

These storms have the potential to produce 60 mph wind gusts and the NWS says that damage to homes, siding and trees is possible.

Update 3/30/2022 3:00 a.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Delaware and Ottawa counties until 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Strong and severe storms are moving through Oklahoma, with the potential of producing hail or tornadoes. The storm is expected to last from late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

A tornado watch has been issued for Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell, Hughes, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Mayes, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa and Wagoner County until 7:00am.
