Poll: Drummond Grows Lead Over O'Connor In Quest For GOP Attorney General Nomination

Gentner Drummond has an even-more commanding lead in the race to win the Republican nomination for Oklahoma Attorney General, according to a News 9 / News On 6 poll released Thursday.

A poll of likely Oklahoma GOP primary voters were asked who they would support between the current, appointed Attorney General John O'Connor and Drummond. More than 47 percent of voters said they would vote for Drummond while only 18.4 percent were committed to supporting O'Connor. Undecideds came in at 34.5 percent.

A News 9 / News On 6 poll released in May had Drummond at 41 percent and O'Connor at 22.9 percent with 36.1 percent undecided.
