Passenger Killed In Semi Truck Accident Near Stroud Identified

A semi truck passenger has been identified in a deadly Lincoln County collision Tuesday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 41-year-old Melissa Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene by Stroud EMS.

The driver of one of the semi trucks was transported to OU Medical Center and is expected to make a full recovery.

The collision involved two semi trucks and a Ford F-450.

Traffic was diverted off the highway at Chandler.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
