YWCA: Holiday Breaks Increase Risk Of Domestic Violence

Holidays, like Labor Day, can be triggering for victims of domestic abuse.

A spokesperson from the Young Women's Christian Association said extended periods of time with an abusive partner, added to the increased heat and substances like alcohol or drugs, increases the risk of violence.
