OKC Offering Christmas Tree Recycling

Oklahoma City officials are reminding residents that they have options with what to do with their Christmas trees after the holiday.

The first option is turning it into free mulch.

You can drop off your live trees from now through Jan. 15 at Will Rogers Park or Wheeler Park for it to be made into mulch.

however, you must bring your own shovel and container.

The second option is to have your natural or artificial tree picked up at the curb along with other bulky waste on your assigned bulky waste trash pick up date.
