OKC Metro Organizations Partnering For Blood Drive

Several Oklahoma City metro organizations are partnering together to announce a new effort to collect Type O whole blood.

The Oklahoma Blood Institute said Type O blood is critical in trauma care, but supplies are low.

OBI, EMSA, EMS, OU Health and the Oklahoma City Fire Department will be holding a news conference at 10 a.m. Wednesday to provide more information.
