Highway 62 Bridge Over The Arkansas River Closes For Bridge Replacement

Demolition crews blew up the Highway 62 bridge over the Arkansas river in Muskogee on Tuesday.

Video shared by the Muskogee Mayor Marlon Coleman shows the demolition in progress.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) is replacing the bridge as part of a $75-million project that started last September.

All the work is expected to be finished by late 2024.
