Cell Tower Brings Service To Cherokee Nation In Delaware County

The Cherokee Nation says people in a rural part of Delaware County have reliable cell service for the first time.

The tribe has been working with AT&T for more than a year to build the new cell tower near Kenwood, which is just East of Salina.

The cell tower will provide service to about 1,000 people who previously had to drive as far as 10 miles to get a good signal.
