Oklahoma City Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a southeast Oklahoma City motel shooting that happened earlier this month.

Thanks to tips from the public, police identified and arrested 48-year-old Larry Taylor Jr. in connection with the incident.
The shooting happened at the Best Way Inn near Southeast 29th and the Interstate 35 Service Road last week.
Police said the victim was in a hotel room when Taylor came to the door and pushed his way in.
The victim tried fighting the suspect off, but security video showed the suspect shooting inside the motel room.
The victim was transported to the hospital where investigators learned that he was paralyzed.
Court documents said Taylor would be facing charges of maiming and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
