Red Cross Responds To Wildfires In Multiple Oklahoma Counties

The Red Cross is working with emergency managers and other local officials across the state to respond to wildfires in multiple counties.

The state emergency operations center has been activated for this widespread incident, The Red Cross said.

The Red Cross is working to provide evacuation centers for residents and canteen support for first responders in counties including Oklahoma, Lincoln, Logan, Dewey, Kingfisher, Washington and Osage.

An open evacuation center in Bartlesville can be found at 616 NE Washington Ave. at Town & Country Christian Church.

Red Cross said it's a quickly evolving situation. The list of evacuation centers will be updated as information is available.

Residents affected by wildfires can call 1-800-RED CROSS for assistance 24 hours a day.
