Filmmaker From Tulsa Premiers New Movie At Circle Cinema

The movie industry in Oklahoma is continuing to grow, and a Tulsa filmmaker premiered his latest movie at Circle Cinema featuring some big names.

'One Day as a Lion' was filmed in Oklahoma and stars JK Simmons, Scott Caan and Frank Grillo.

This is director John Swab's 7th movie; all of which except one have been filmed in Oklahoma.

"My whole childhood I grew up wanting to get out of here, to go out and pursue a career in making movies," Swab continued. "I'm not just saying it when I say without Tulsa, without Oklahoma, I don't know if I ever would have made one film."

'One Day as a Lion' premiered with a Q&A with Swab on Tuesday evening at Circle Cinema.
