Oklahoma House Speaker, Senate Pro Tempore Diverge On Education Legislation

Oklahoma Senate pro tempore Greg Treat called on Oklahoma House Speaker Charles McCall to "end the political games" as the debate over education in the Oklahoma legislature intensifies.

On Monday, Rep. McCall released a letter detailing differences between the state house and senate's plans, where McCall criticized the senate for slashing tax credits.

On the Oklahoma Senate however, Sen. Treat responded by criticizing the lack of good faith negotiations and lack of teacher and staff pay raises in the house's plan.
