Waynoka Firefighter Med-Flighted To Metro Hospital With 3rd Degree Burns

Two Waynoka firefighters were injured while fighting a wildfire in Woods County on Saturday. 

The Alva Police Chief assisted the injured Waynoka firefighters and said one sustained burns and the other suffered smoke inhalation. 

The firefighter with sustained burns was flown to a metro hospital with serious burns to his arms and hands. 

Their names have not been released.
