OU Professor Pleads Guilty To Making Lewd Proposals To Minor

A former assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma pleaded guilty on Thursday to making lewd proposals to a child under the age of 16.

Imran Hasnat Palash was convicted and received a ten-year suspended sentence. Palash was also charged with sending obscene material to a minor, but that charge was dropped.

Palash has been deported to Bangladesh, his home county.
