The Oklahoma City Police Department identified a person who died after ingesting fentanyl in April of 2022.

OCPD said they responded to a home near northwest 30th Street and North Walker Avenue where 32-year-old Kathryn Manning was found dead.

A medical examiner determined the cause of death was a fentanyl overdose.

Investigators said 49-year-old Justin Lastra had provided the fentanyl to a group of people which officers said led to the death of Manning.

OCPD said Lastra was taken into custody and was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a complaint of murder.
