Pauls Valley Police Seize Mushrooms, Marijuana, Arrest 3

The Pauls Valley Police Department arrested three people and seized psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, other THC products, drug paraphernalia, and numerous items used for packaging and selling narcotics.

21-year-old Jose Meave was suspected of selling drugs to minors. A probable cause affidavit was submitted to Garvin County District Court and arrest warrants were issued for Meave on May 1 for distribution of controlled dangerous substance to a minor.

A search warrant was issued and executed for an apartment in Pauls Valley, allegedly used as the distribution point. It was at the apartment that the police found and seized the drugs and other items.

20-year-old John Smith and 19-year-old Kayla Scott, both residents of the apartment, were taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, possession of controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Meave was also arrested while the search warrant was being executed.
