2 Local Medical Professionals Charged In 75-Year-Old's Death

The Attorney General has charged two metro medical professionals with second-degree manslaughter and neglect.

Court documents said Dr. Alexander Frank and pharmacist Justin Lee misprescribed a drug, giving a 75-year-old woman 20 milligrams daily instead of weekly.

Court records show Frank approved the incorrect dosage despite warnings from his computer, one that said "dose falls above the recommended geriatric daily dose."

The woman died two weeks after starting the drug.
